Hurricane Sandy Property Tax Relief

Some relief will expire if you don’t file by February 1st, 2013.

Red tagged houses can get a lower tax bill until their unit is repaired, but you must file before Feb 1st for some NYC benefits.

If you or a friend have a Red Tagged unit and live in the Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Sullivan, Suffolk, Ulster and Westchester counties, you  may qualify for tax relief.  Check out the link above.

Do it now before the deadline.

For Applications for FEMA Sandy relief must be submitted by February 27, 2013.
